OFFICE space above a bank in Keighley Town Centre could soon be converted into flats.
A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council by a Mr Liming Sun to turn the upper floors of the Yorkshire Bank on North Street into 9 flats.
The building is in the Keighley Town Centre Conservation Area - but is much more modern than the buildings that surround it.
If approved, three one bed and six two bed flats would be created in the vacant space - which the application says is no longer needed by the bank.

The application says: "The upper floors are showing signs of neglect, with the flat roof in need of repair and refurbishment with modern materials.
"The proposals provide town centre living, which will support local business and the local economy."
A decision on the application is expected in August.
