A COUPLE of Bradford women have been told by a court that their Pit Bull Terriers must be destroyed.
Sally Alexander Hanford, 42, of Smiddles Lane, was the owner of a light brown Pit Bull/Terrier called Bruce.
On February 17, Kirklees Magistrates Court said the dog had to be destroyed unless an appeal was lodged within the next 21 days.
Hanford was ordered to pay whatever West Yorkshire Police determined to be reasonable expenses of destroying the dog and keeping it pending its destruction.
On May 17 at the same court, an order, which will come into force unless an exemption is obtained within two months, was made against Denisa Sivakova, of Great Horton Road, saying her Pit Bull Terrier called Rocky would be destroyed.
She also had to pay costs of £600 to West Yorkshire Police.
