SIR - Why should Bradford be proud of the claim of being the youngest city in the UK with, as was claimed at this weeks Executive meeting, the possibility of that extending to Europe?
Surely this is a combination of high birth rates and mortality rates too; neither is something to be proud of. And what do we do with these young people other than export them to Leeds?
Perhaps this is further exacerbated by a flow out of the city of people in their middle-years once they can actually afford to do so?
