A FORMER mental health hub owned by Bradford Council will go to auction with a guide price of £220,000 later this month.

Bradford Council is hoping to sell the vacant unused building at an online auction by Pugh Properties on June 23.

The Council has sold dozens of publicly owned buildings at auction in recent years in a bid to bring the unused properties back into use.

The most significant building being auctioned by the Council this month is 147 Skipton Road in Keighley – a former base for Community Mental Health Services in the town.

Keighley court building is sold before auction

The large period house, on one of the main routes into Keighley, has three storeys as well as a basement, car park and rear garden.

There is office space, kitchens and toilets on all three floors.

The auction says the imposing former house is “suitable for a variety of commercial and residential uses subject tot the necessary consents.”

At the same Auction Leeds Council is selling a 1.2 acre plot of land in Beeston with a guide price of £300,000.
