ONE further Covid-19-related hospital death was reported yesterday in Bradford.
According to the latest NHS figures, the one further death was reported at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on May 28.
No further deaths have been reported by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
It means the total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 893 – 630 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 261 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Nationally, a further 14 deaths were recorded over the last four days, bringing the total number of confirmed reported covid-related deaths in hospitals in England to 87,183.
Their families have been informed.
The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.
NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.
"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."
