FIVE people have been taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Buttershaw.

Fire crews from Fairweather Green and Odsal were called following the crash at the junction of Fairfield Avenue and Braine Croft at 7.50pm yesterday.

Four of the five people involved in the crash were taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for minor injuries.

The fifth person involved was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with suspected spinal injuries.

Nobody was trapped in either of then vehicles, a Fairweather Green Fire Station confirmed.
