A MAN was taken ill at the wheel of his car before crashing into a pub in York, police have confirmed.
Police, fire and ambulance attended the incident on Micklegate in the city after the car left then road at just after 9.15am today and crashed into the Brewdog pub.
Emergency services made the red hatchback car safe and checks are being made on the safety of the Brewdog building.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service treated the man at the scene.
