LATEST weekly figures have revealed a slight rise in the number of patients in Bradford’s hospitals with Covid-19.

The data, which covers all hospitals in the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health & Care Partnership, is released every Thursday afternoon to give an idea of the current picture.

This week’s figures showed two patients being treated at Airedale with Covid-19 and 15 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 

That’s up from one at Airedale the previous week and 14 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.

Across the partnership area, 42 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 were receiving care, with 11 in intensive care. There were 45 patients the previous week, with 10 in intensive care.

The latest weekly figures are as follows (number in brackets is the previous week’s comparison): Airedale 2 (1); Bradford Teaching Hospitals 15 (14); Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust 8 (11); Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust 0 (1); Leeds Teaching Hospitals 10 (10); Mid Yorkshire Hospitals 7 (8).
