SAYING this past week had been a busy one for this Bradford policing team would be an understatement.

Over the past seven days, Bradford East Neighbourhood Police have conducted a large-scale drugs raid, dealt with four cannabis farms, caught a male possessing drugs with intent to supply, and made several other arrests.

The first undertaking in that list was at a property in Wapping where over £50,000 of Class A drugs (heroin and crack cocaine) and numerous offensive weapons were seized.

A male was arrested and charged for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a firearm.

A large amount of Class B drugs were located at a property in Laisterdyke and a man was arrested for possession with intent to supply and the production of cannabis.

Two other males have been given cautions for possession of Class A and Class B drugs in West Bowling and Pollard Lane.

As for the cannabis farms, three were discovered and dismantled across Bradford Moor/East Bowling/Barkerend.

Another one received the same treatment in Canterbury and the occupant was cautioned.

A further six people were arrested in Bradford East.

One West Bowling man for burglary, two males from West Bowling and Wapping for breach of bail, and the remaining people, from Thorpe Edge, West Bowling and Undercliffe, were arrested for court warrants.
