FIVE people from Bradford have been fined or given community orders for assaulting a police officer.

These people have all appeared in Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court this month:

  • Mohammed Ali Atif, 21, of Coates Street, Bradford, was given a community order, including ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £50 compensation, a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police officer, on February 2, 2021.
  • Jack Hadley, 19, of High Poplars, Bradford, was given a community order, ordered to carry out 50 hours unpaid work in the community, to pay £100 compensation, a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police officer, on November 19, 2020.
  • Jodie Singh, 33, of Pemberton Drive, Bradford, was given a community order including an alcohol treatment requirement, ordered to pay £80 compensation, for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police officer, on March 11, 2021.
  • Gavin Brady, 51, of Bingley Road, Bradford, was fined £162, ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £32 victim surcharge and pay £500 costs for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police constable, on April 12, 2020.
  • Anthony Rhodes, 29, of Buttershaw Drive, Bradford, was given a community order including 200 hours unpaid work in the community, ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, for assault by beating of an emergency worker, a police officer, on September 26, 2020.
