POLICE "pounced" on a car that was abandoned in a busy city centre road.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team - the force's dedicated initiative for dealing with dangerous and anti-social behaviour - went to Rooley Lane, in Bradford, yesteday where a black Seat had been left.
The car was abandoned overnight between Friday and Saturday.
Police brought a recovery van to collect the car.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Even the big van was quick enough to pounce on this Seat that had been abandoned on Rooley Lane overnight."
