POLICE have revealed the identity of a woman who died in a fatal road traffic collision in Huddersfield.

Jeanette Mason, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident which happened on Wakefield Road, at the junction with Waterloo road at 9am last Friday (May 14).

Jeanette's family have released a tribute, describing her as a “much loved mum, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and grandma; and special friend to many. She will be sadly missed.”

The driver of the Fiat Panda involved in the collision has been interviewed and released under investigation.

The police are still investigating the circumstances of this collision and are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam or phone footage of the incident to come forward.
