PROPOSALS to refurbish an inner city park have been approved by Bradford Council.
The plans to improve sports facilities at Attock Park, in the Bradford Moor area, were revealed last month, and are being backed by the Football Foundation and the West Riding Football Association.
A multi use games area at the North of the park will be expanded and re-surfaced with new markings and fencing - increasing the space that can be used for ball games.
Another football games area at the South of the site would be re-surfaced with new LED flood lights installed.

The Council, which owns and maintains the park, said the plans are a partnership with the Football Foundation, a charity that helps improve grassroots football facilities, and the West Riding FA, the governing body for football in the area.
The partnership says the goal of the application is to create a “quality and sustainable facility” in an area of Bradford where there is limited access to football pitches.
A planning application for the works has now been approved by Bradford Council.
Officers said the work would "undoubtedly lead to increased use" but that it would not cause harm or nuisance to people living near the park.
