TWO people were rescued this morning after a kitchen fire broke out.
Firefighters were called to the house, on Cranbrook Street, Clayton, just after 9am.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said fire survival guidance was given to two people trapped inside their property, who had reported smoke coming from downstairs.
Fire crews from Fairweather Green, Odsal and Bradford were scrambled to the scene and on arrival confirmed there was a small fire in the kitchen.
Two people in their twenties were led to safety by fire crews and then placed in the care of ambulance crews as they were suffering from the effects of smoke.
One hose reel, two breathing apparatus sets and positive pressure ventilation fans were used.
