HERE are the latest area by area figures for Covid-19 vaccinations in every part of the Bradford district.

The figures are broken down by Middle Super Output Area - a hyperlocal method of breaking down figures to areas of about 7,200 people - and show how many people have had their first dose, second dose, and how many over 40s have been vaccinated so far.

As of May 9, 53.6 per cent of all adults in the Bradford district had received their first Covid-19 vaccine, and 27.7 per cent had received both doses.

So far, the Covid-19 vaccine has been offered to all people aged 40 and over, as well as younger people who are frontline health and social care workers or who are classed as clinically vulnerable to Covid-19.

Some areas have higher total vaccination numbers, which in part is down to having an older average age in their population, whereas some parts of the city have a young population.

However, many areas are still trailing far behind in vaccinating their older population, meaning many people are still at risk of death or serious illness from Covid and don't have the added protection of a vaccine.

Anyone who is eligible for the vaccine is urged to contact the NHS to get protected as soon as possible.

The figures below are broken down by the percentage of over 40s vaccinated with at least a first dose, the percentage of the total population who have had their first vaccine, and the percentage of the total population who have had both doses.

For example, for the whole district it would read: Bradford - (over 40s vaccinated) 78.5%, (total first vaccines) 53.6%, (total second vaccines) 27.7%.
