A DRIVER was caught speeding through motorway roadworks at more than 100mph.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) spotted a car speeding on the M62 overnight, near Huddersfield.
The vehicle was clocked at going 110mph.
This was while roadworks were underway on the carriageway, when then speed limit is often dropped from the usual 70mph for safety.
Police pulled over the driver and reported them for the speeding offence.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "110mph through roadworks on the M62.
"Driver reported for the speeding offence."
