FIRE crews saved this young deer from drowning in a canal.
Firefighters from Leeds and a technical rescue unit from Cleckheaton were called to the Leeds & Liverpool Canal earlier today, where the deer had got into trouble.
Thanks to their work, the deer was able to go safely back into the wild uninjured.
