THERE were no injuries in a two-car crash which closed a road in Pudsey this afternoon.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at about 4.38pm to a report of a collision between a van and a car on Waterloo Road in Pudsey."

Police and the ambulance service responded to the scene, but the police spokesperson said: "No-one was injured and recovery was arranged for both vehicles."

The road had to be closed in both directions as emergency services dealt with the incident.

The road was cleared and reopened about two hours later

First West Yorkshire's bus service X11, which had to be temporarily diverted, was back on its normal route when the road reopened.
