Police are investigating a bizarre crime at a house on the outskirts of Bradford city centre.
The intruder or intruders forced the lock on the door to get into a property on Merton Fold, off Spring Mill Street, before removing............. the boiler!
Police have issued an appeal over the curious incident, which happened on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
In an update issued through the West Yorkshire Community Alert system, officers gave a brief update on what is being classed as a "domestic burglary."
The update said: "Sometime between 4th and 5th May unknown suspect(s) approach a property on Merton Fold, BD5, and force the lock from the door to gain entry.
"Once inside suspect(s) remove the boiler before making off with it in an unknown direction."
