SHOPPERS in Bradford may have noticed a new addition in the city centre today to celebrate EID.
The Broadway, Bradford is marking EID for two weeks from today with a 26 foot light installation in the site, giving shoppers the chance to celebrate the end of Ramadan in a safe way.
Visitors to the Centre also have the chance to enter a selfie competition by taking and sharing images on their social media accounts.
Shoppers will then be given a chance to win a £50 gift card tag @broadwaybradford and use the hashtag #WeAreBroadwayBradford. The Broadway has now extended its opening hours to between 9am and 7pm Monday to Saturday.
Ian Ward, general manager at The Broadway, said: “We are delighted to be able to join the EID festivities in the region.
“Bradford has a rich cultural heritage and whilst we cannot host an event this year, we are pleased to be commemorating the end of Ramadan in the centre.”
