A BRADFORD doctor will be looking at how best we can all reduce our intake of sugar in a national documentary programme tonight.

Dr Amir Khan, who is often seen on shows including Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, will feature on a report on ITV’s Tonight.

The programme, called ‘Giving Up Sugar: For Good?’, will see Former Labour MP Tom Watson look at how much damage refined sugar is doing to the nation's health.

He removed sugar from his diet which helped him lose eight stone. In the programme, he will also look at what the impact eating less sugar would have on the NHS.

‘Giving Up Sugar: For Good?’ will be shown on ITV’s Tonight programme at 7.30pm today.
