MORRISONS has launched a brand-new range of ready meals, designed to make it easier than ever to create meals at home in minutes.

The Bradford-based supermarket chain’s 40 new meals offer busy parents an ultimate stress-free dinner - with a focus on quality ingredients, added protein and lower levels of fat, salt and sugar.

People can tuck into a Classic Mac and Cheese or fake a takeaway with the Southern Fried Meal Box or the Takeaway Beef Pepper Masala.

There are more options for veggies and vegans too, including the Ready to Cook Tandoori Cauliflower with Masala Sauce and the Vegan Smoky Shredded Jackfruit Burrito Bowl.

New recipes include Italian family favourite, The Best Lasagne, made with a slow-cooked beef ragu enriched with Merlot and pancetta and added layers of pasta or The Best Cottage Pie now with Ruddles Ale and Henderson Relish for a flavour hit, topped with smooth mashed potato and sprinkled with Taw Valley Cheddar.

Other dishes include The Best Paella or The Best King Prawn, Tomato & Chilli Bucatini. For vegans there’s The Best Vegan Moussaka or The Best Korean Style BBQ Mushrooms with Sticky Rice.
