SPECIAL Constables in Bradford have had a busy 24 hours, including dealing with fights, arresting a driver who was more than three times over the limit and heading to domestics.

One officer assisted the West Yorkshire Police Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) on the Friday late shift.

They attended a domestic, tracked an abandoned 999 call, which turned out to be a pocket dial, and found a high-risk missing person.

The officer and NPT also responded to reports of youths fighting.

The same officer helped the same team last night too.

They again attended a report of an ongoing fight and assisted with proactive patrols.

The night's work included vehicle checks and a male was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

When the man was in custody, he blew 117 on the breathalyser.

That is more than three times over the prescribed limit, which is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.

Finally, four Special Constables led an operation in the Bradford district looking for wanted people.

Two of the officers arrested a male for breach of bail, while the other two Special Constables detained a man who was wanted on a warrant.
