A TEENAGER and a man have been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to a stabbing in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police detained two males - aged 18 and 20 - on suspicion of murder overnight.

It is in relation to the stabbing in Duckworth Lane on Thursday evening.

Muhammed Mujahid Hussain, who was 19-years-old, from Bradford, suffered a single stab wound and sadly died in hospital.

He was officially named by police today and the force also released a picture of the victim.

Officers were called at 11.58pm on Thursday to reports of an ongoing fight between a large group of males, on Duckworth Lane.

A number of cars were damaged in the disorder and, shortly after midnight, Mr Hussain attended Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) with a single stab wound.

He died a short time later in hospital, triggering police to launch a murder investigation.

A police cordon was in place throughout Friday on Duckworth Lane, between its junction with Little Lane and Girlington Road and Duckworth Terrace and St Leonard's Road.

Later on Friday, two males - aged 17 and 20 - were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

They remain in custody today.

Police have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses and information, specifically mentioning a video of the fight that is being shared on social media.
