POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a teenager was killed in a stabbing in the early hours of today.
Emergency services were called to Duckworth Lane at 11.58pm yesterday to reports of an ongoing fight between a large group of males.
A number of cars were damaged in the disorder and shortly after midnight a man, aged 19, attended Bradford Royal Infirmary with a single stab wound.
He died a short time later in hospital, triggering police to launch a murder investigation.
A large police cordon is in place at the scene, where officers are examining the area and continuing enquiries.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the disorder in Duckworth Lane to come forward, in particular if they have dashcam footage.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police by calling 101, quoting log number 14 of April 23, or using the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
Information can also be passed to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
