A VAN has "blown up" in a car park this evening.
The vehicle - a white Vauxhall van - is believed to have exploded tonight in the Whinmoor area, East Leeds.
It was in a car park opposite The Old Red Lion pub, according to a local resident.
The resident - who did not wish to be named - said they were inside at the time and heard a "huge bang" and added that the van had "blown up".
A photo of the vehicle shows the rear of it has been damaged.
The left door on the back is crumpled inwards, with the window missing too.
Another photo shows a fire engine in attendance at the scene.
