A WOMAN was helped by fire crews and taken to hospital after suffering a suspected broken hip when she slipped in the shower.
Fire crews from Bingley were called to a house in March Cote Lane, Cottingley, at 12.30am today after reports a woman had slipped and fallen in her bathroom shower.
The crew used a collapsible stretcher to remove her from the shower, after removing its screen, and took her into an ambulance.
The woman was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary. An ambulance response car also attended the scene.
