ONE MAN has been arrested after armed police descended on a Bradford house yesterday evening, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed today.
Armed officers were called to Cooper Lane, Buttershaw shortly before 5.30pm yesterday, after they received reports of a man with a gun.
One local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said that parts of Cooper Lane were "blocked off for three-and-a-half hours" as armed police "guarded a house all night".
They added that police were still in the area this morning, and were seen "speaking to neighbours" as enquiries continued.
In a short statement, West Yorkshire Police said today: "Armed police attended the location following a report of a male with a gun, which was received at 5.23pm yesterday.
"A man was arrested in connection with this report and enquiries are continuing."
