TRIBUTES have paid to 'Kiki', a man described as a 'happy chap' who 'always had a smile on his face' following a horror crash in Bradford.

Emergency services were scrambled to the scene of the fatal crash on Great Horton Road, near its junction with Claremont, at 5.44pm on Monday.

A 31-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the crash between a quad bike and car. He died a short time later.

Bilal Hussain, 33, said he had known him since around eight or nine years old.

He said: "He always had a smile on his face, always time for everyone. He would go out of his way."

Another friend at the scene added: "He was a very happy chap, he was always a jolly type of guy. He was a nice guy."

They said he was well known in the community and another person paying tribute where flowers have left added: "If you were in trouble, he would be there for you."

Many have paid tribute on social media and by leaving flowers on Great Horton Road.

A card on one of the floral tributes reads: "My beautiful friend Kiki, I cherish every conversation we've had, I cherish our friendship, today at 11.45am you came to see me, you came to say hello. I didn't know this was goodbye. I refuse to believe that. We will meet again God willing.  "Words can't describe the pain in my heart in losing such a dear friend. This is not goodbye. I have your back in my prayers just like you've always had mine. Sweet dreams beautiful soul.

"Your bonified friend forever, Anissa"

Another says: "RIP Keeks. You was too good for this world. You will be greatly missed. Love Natalie"
