TWO lanes, which had to be closed on the M62 this morning due to a multi-vehicle accident, have reopened.
Highways England tweeted that the accident took place on the eastbound lanes of the motorway between Junctions 22 and Junction 23 at Huddersfield.
They later tweeted that the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes were running freely.
Traffic officers from the West Yorkshire Police's Road Policing Unit were amongst the emergency services to respond to the scene.
