A street on the edge of Bradford city centre was closed this evening after a very serious crash.
Emergency services were scrambled to Great Horton Road, near its junction with Claremont, at around 6pm.

Police are yet to reveal details of the nature of the incident, but the road was closed in both directions near the University of Bradford.
The incident is believed to have involved a quad bike-type vehicle.
One observer described the outcome of the accident as "heartbreaking."
Accident investigation work took place at the scene for several hours before recovery trucks could be seen taking vehicles away.
The T&A's traffic information partner INRIX reported: "The road remains closed following a serious accident which happened at around 18:00."
