DOG owners in Bradford have been urged to put their pet forward for a national dog bed testing project.

Home interiors specialists Hillarys has created a selection of dog beds, made from the fabrics used to create the company’s blinds.

The team are on the search to find five dogs to put on the payroll, in order to test out the prototypes before they are launched to the rest of the UK.

The successful canine candidates will each be sent one dog bed in a fabric of their (or their owner’s) choice, with the owner required to give feedback on how often their dog uses the bed, along with appearance and comfort details.

All doggy owners have to do to audition their pet for the role is to fill out a form, giving their name, email, pet’s name, Instagram handle (if the dog has one), and (most importantly) a cute photo of their dog.

Potential applicants have until 11.59pm on May 12 to apply, with the successful applicants not only receiving a dog bed for their pooch, but also £100 cash for allowing their puppy to participate.
