POLICE have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with an incident of sexual assault in Bradford where a girl aged 15 was allegedly kissed, grabbed and dragged into a garden.
The suspect was arrested on Friday in connection with the incident in St Mary's Road, off Sticker Lane in Laisterdyke, at around 11.10pm on March 25.
His arrest follows an appeal to the public for information earlier this week.
In the incident, police said the young girl alleged she was walking home when a male approached her.
The male suspect allegedly grabbed the victim, kissed her and then pulled her into a nearby garden and sexually assaulted her.
She managed to get away from her alleged attacker and ran home where she called police.
The 16-year-old has been bailed with conditions, including staying at a specific address, a night-time curfew, and regular reporting to a police station.
