IT was a busy night for members of Bradford's Special Constabulary yesterday as they made a number of arrests and also seized a sizable knife.
The team were out across Bradford hard at work arresting criminals and dealing with trouble and anti-social behaviour.
Their first major incident came while assisting officers in Bradford West who were called to a report of a male causing damage.
When they arrived the male was arrested for criminal damage, and when searched he was found to be hiding a kitchen knife with a long sharp blade in his jogging bottoms.
The knife was seized and an arrest for possession of a bladed weapon was added to the male's rap sheet.
Next up for the team was a reported domestic incident featuring one particularly unpleasant woman.
When officers arrived the woman was arrested for domestic threats to kill, which is when, Bradford Specials said, that she "kicked off", attacking two police officers.
She was further detained for two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
The Specials team added: "Thankfully all officers are okay."
