AN ARMED gang wreaked havoc in the early hours of this morning, slashing tyres and damaging a house front door with their weapons.
West Yorkshire Police was called at 4.17am today to reports of a group of people armed with weapons causing damage to parked cars on Westburn Avenue, Keighley.
Officers rushed to the scene, but the gang had already fled.
There were no reported injuries.
But there was damage to the front door of a house and two vehicles had their tyres slashed.
A police cordon is in place currently while officers examine and investigate the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Police are now issuing an appeal for witnesses and information.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Farrell, of Bradford District Police, said: “This is believed to be a targeted attack and there is no threat to the wider public.
“I would encourage anyone who witnessed the incident or has any further information to come forward and speak to the police."
