AN UNEXPECTED power cut has left 90 homes and buildings without electricity this morning.
Northern Powergrid revealed that 90 premises in the Calverley area (LS28) are being hit by an unplanned outage this morning.
It was first reported at 7.40am.
The power cut looks to be impacting houses at the top of village, including those off Upper Carr Lane, Oastler Road, Thornhill Street, Woodhall Road, Back Thornhill Street, Foxholes Lane and Foxholes Crescent.
Power is expected to be restored by 10.45am.
The outage has been caused by unexpected problems with the electricity cables, or equipment, that serve the area.
The Northern Powergrid website stated: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
