He appeared before Leeds Magistrates on Wednesday charged with attempted murder following an incident in the Whinney Hill Park area on Monday.
A male was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following an alleged assault at around 4.30pm in the park behind the fast food restaurant. Today, Marsden was not arraigned on the charge at the request of his barrister Gerald Hendron.
A six-day trial was set for October 25. Judge Jonathan Rose remanded Marsden back into custody.
