BRADFORD is set for a cloudy, dry but cold day when its pubs, shops, gyms and hairdressers reopen next Monday.

After a cold start, Monday is set to be a cool but cloudy day as temperatures reach a high of 9C at 4pm, according to the Met Office.

This may be encouraging news for anyone who is going to the district’s shops or pub beer gardens, as outdoor drinking resumes under the next stage of the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown restrictions.

But this weekend’s weather will follow a similar pattern to next Monday with cool but dry conditions.

FRIDAY

After a sunny start today, the cloudy and dry conditions will dominate this afternoon with temperatures reaching a high of 9C.

Sunny spells will return at around 5pm today. The mercury will plunge to 3C by 11pm tonight.

SATURDAY

Tomorrow will be a cooler day than today with temperatures only reaching a high of 6C between 1pm and 6pm.

A cloudy afternoon will follow a sunny, but chilly morning. Night-time temperatures will fall to 1C by 11pm.

SUNDAY

Again, the weekend will conclude with a similar weather pattern to Saturday, with a cold but sunny morning making way for a cloudy afternoon with a high of 7C.
