A BRADFORD TV doctor has explained how people are more likely to catch Covid indoors than outdoors.
Dr Amir Khan says we all need to make sure ventilation indoors is looked at, especially ahead of non-essential shops and pubs’ outdoor spaces reopening next Monday. He was responding to a new study from the Republic of Ireland which shows only one Covid case in 1,000 is caught indoors.
Dr Amir explains you are much more likely to catch Covid indoors through the air, rather than on surfaces.

Speaking on today’s Good Morning Britain, he said: “The study says outdoors is one of the safest places to be during a pandemic because there’s lots of ventilation, wind blowing particles that may contain the coronavirus away.
“It’s very unlikely you get it from outdoors or touching surfaces.
“Indoor transmission is what it’s all about.
"We have got to make sure ventilation indoors is really looked at, particularly in workplaces and schools as things reopen up.”
