POLICE have recovered two stolen bikes in Shipley which locals said were "causing a nuisance" in the West Royd area.
Residents made complaints about "bikes on grassland", West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team tweeted last night, as officers attended and discovered that the bikes had actually been stolen from Leeds recently.
It was described as a "great result" by officers.
