A NEW secure cycle parking facility has been installed on North Parade in Bradford city centre.
The unit is opposite Bread & Roses cafe, and has been installed thanks to West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Cityconnect scheme - set up to boost cycling in the region.
It is the first such bike hanger to be installed in West Yorkshire through Cityconnect.
It takes up one car parking space on the street, and has space for six bicycles.
'Ongoing rise' in active travel as trips on Bradford cycle route up 90 per cent
It can be used by staff and visitors to Bread & Roses, and non customers can use the facility by getting in touch with the business.
A spokesman for Cityconnect said: “This is just another step towards helping more people in our region to choose active travel.”
