THERE was slow traffic this afternoon heading through a crossroads after a crash near where roadworks are underway.
The collision happened on Brighouse and Denholme Road (A644) at its junction with Thornton Road (B6145).
It was first reported at 3.19pm, according to the AA.
The incident was causing traffic issues in the area and it was believed roadworks on Brighouse Road were adding to the delays.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said it was a damage-only collision, with no injuries.
