POLICE are searching for two people after a car crashed onto the pavement and they ran away.
The collision - which involved one vehicle - happened on Whitehall Road (A58), between Westfield Lane (B6379, Wyke) and Grasmere Road (Scholes).
It was first reported at 5.48pm, according to the AA.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the crashed vehicle was damaged and blocked the pavement.
They added that the two occupants in the car "made off" from the scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.
The accident was cleared at 7.38pm.
