HIT musical Singin’ in the Rain is coming to Bradford as part of a UK tour.
The Olivier Award nominated show is due at the Alhambra from July 11-16, 2022, following a planned season at Sadler’s Wells this summer.
The show’s iconic rain scene uses 6,000 litres of water, equivalent to 5 tonnes , and over 100 metres of heavy duty rubber hose. It takes 15 minutes to drain and afterwards it is recovered, cleaned and used again
The stage production is based on the classic Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, regularly voted one of the most popular film musicals of all time, and features numbers such as Make ‘em Laugh, Good Morning and Singin’ in the Rain.
