A man accused of murdering his father has made another appearance before Bradford Crown Court.
Phillip Badwal, 25, was not arraigned on the charge that he murdered 59-year-old Santokh 'Charlie' Singh on November 30 last year.
Badwal, of Airedale Road, Undercliffe, Bradford, appeared on a video link to Leicester Prison.
His barrister, Rodney Ferm, said the trial listed for July 12 would last for five days.
Mr Singh was found with significant head injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
Tributes posted later described him as the “King of Otley Road”.
Judge Jonathan Rose told Badwal today’s hearing was to set a timetable of what was going to happen between now and the trial.
