AN ELDERLY pedestrian was rushed to hospital this morning with a head injury, after a crash at a supermarket petrol station.
The collision happened at the petrol station for the Morrisons supermarket in High Street, Yeadon, at 9.50am today.
It involved a male pedestrian and a vehicle.
West Yorkshire Police was called to scene by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS).
The pedestrian - who was in his eighties - received a head injury in the crash and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police put a cordon in place, surrounding the petrol station, while officers waited for updates on the man's condition.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 9.50am today (15/3) police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending a road traffic collision at the petrol station on the Morrison’s store site, in High Street, Yeadon.
"A male pedestrian aged in his eighties had been involved in a collision with a vehicle and received a head injury.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment.
"A scene was put in place pending an update on the man’s condition."
