BRADFORD City’s travel sickness continued with a 3-1 defeat at Carlisle United on Saturday.
Saturday’s defeat in Cumbria, the Bantams’ second in four days, has seen Mark Trueman and Conor Sellars’ side lose the momentum of their fine five-match winning run.
They will be hoping for a turn in their fortunes when they host Oldham Athletic in League Two on Saturday.
Here are a few City fans’ views on social media after the Carlisle loss:
Overall results have been outstanding but performances have varied. Defensively we have been brilliant (canavan outstanding) which means we only have needed to score 1 goal to win games where we have not dominated. The ugly wins have turned into losses, hope this is a blip #bcafc

Next time we play Barrow or Carlisle away, #bcafc should consider wind tunnel training the day before. Might just help. Newport away? Any soggy patch on the moors.

I've never understood why so called 'fans' have criticised players, by criticising them you're not helping them improve you're bringing their confidence down making them probably play worse, its so easy to encourage them to go again not bring their heads down #bcafc

I don’t think we need to panic. Poor today but weather was an issue, and a lot of that side have played every game for the last couple of months. A free week to assist with fatigue, and home advantage next week will hopefully result in a good performance again, and a win! #bcafc

We were NEVER going up this year. We’ve done amazing but people thinking we could recover so much ground were always in cuckoo land. That’s why bookies are rich abs dabs with claret and amber tinged glasses are not #bcafc

The frustration from these defeats is #bcafc haven’t been completely outplayed and conceded goals from open play. Certainly not Newport and not great against Carlisle but still more than enough chances against both teams. Losing to sloppy Set pieces plus controversial decisions.
