A FORMER Bradford man will take on a 76-mile run challenge to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF).
Eddie (Edwin) Towler, who was born in Bradford in 1967 and lived in Wyke on Delph Hill.
During lockdown one, Eddie did a 33-mile run challenge in aid of the ABF. because the 33 first leg miles matched up with 1st Battalion The Duke of Wellingtons Regiment, the 33rd / 76th of Foot.
Eddie has now decided to complete the challenge by running the other 76 miles from Blackpool Tower to Halifax the Dukes regimental headquarters
Eddie will set off on the evening of Friday, April 2, and the route will see Eddie run through top of Keighley down through Bingley into Bradford before running through Wyke (passed Delph Hill) on towards Halifax.
