A NEW pedestrian crossing could be installed on a busy Saltaire street.
Bradford Council has this week begun a consultation into proposals to install a puffin crossing part way down Bingley Road - opposite the village’s Co-Op store.
A public consultation on the proposals began on Thursday, and runs until Friday April 2.
Drinks bid for new burger restaurant in Saltaire
The street is one of the busiest in Saltaire - home to restaurants, shops, bars and beauty salons.
There is already a crossing at either end of the street - one near the former Saltaire Roundabout and another near the top of Victoria Road.
To have your say on the consultation visit https://bradford.moderngov.co.uk/mgConsultationdisplay.aspx?Id=299 before April 2.
