crews from three fire stations attended
TWO cars caught fire in a crash at Oakworth late this afternoon.
Two Volkswagen Golfs and a Ford Fiesta were involved in the accident, which happened shortly before 5pm in Denby Hill Road.
The drivers escaped from their vehicles but all three were taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
Firefighters from Keighley, Bingley and Illingworth attended and gave first aid to the casualties before the arrival of paramedics.
Police also attended.
The firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to tackle the burning vehicles.
Crews were at the scene for more than an hour.
